Ther major objective of transformer fire fighting system is to minimize the risk of the transformer fire occurring. This system is also lead to protect the potential fire victims, and the remainder of the substation installation from also being fire damaged.
There is a water spray sprinkler system located surround the transformer to put the pleasured water on the transformer when it catches fire.
To get the water into the transformer there is a special mechanism to operate. This system is known as the Deluge Valve System.
Transformer fire fighting system Initial Condition
Initial stage water supply contains water under pleasure (Blue Colour) System is connected to diaphragm valve solenoid and manual control station.
In here the air connects to Sprinkle pipe system, Water alarm switch consist automatic drain valve, Trim connect to automatic shut off valve.

Transformer fire fighting system there are so many different types of mechanism. In here what happend is there is a buble which contains limted preasure.
When the pressure or temperature increases abnormally on the transformer this bulb will break then the pressure change on the air system and this will activate the deluge valve and the water will flow on the sprinkling system.

The fire fighting system is tested in a different way. Following are some of the testing method used to test the system.
1.Manuel activation valve test
2.Push-button testing on the control room
3.Valve release system near the transformer.
